Helping members take charge of their financial futures
Find out about the support we offer to employers and trustees so you can help your members to get involved with their pensions and make the most of their scheme.
Communications
Each workplace pension scheme comes with a scheme microsite.
This assists members by walking them through the various stages, from joining the pension scheme through to investment choices and options at retirement.
We can develop bespoke enrolment campaigns using different mediums and channels. A campaign might include:
face-to-face presentations and webinars
videos, posters or desk-drops into areas of the workplace
template communications from the point of auto-enrolment and throughout members’ journeys to retirement
annual pension benefit statements
a UK-based member helpline
support for high earners
We believe that the ability to bring the reality of retirement to life in a dynamic way, motivating and empowering people to act, is vital to engaging them with their retirement planning.
Our interactive video pension benefit statement provides members with a personalised experience that translates their benefit statement data into real life scenarios.
Campaign hub
We can provide you with template communications, posters and digital assets to help engage members throughout their pension savings journey.
Our self-service campaign hub hosts the latest contents, collateral for our member presentations and links to blogs and articles for you to repurpose.
Member tools
Manage Your Account is an online pension administration service designed to make it simple for members to manage their workplace pension. It enables them to:
view their own investments and switch between funds
review their investment performance
view and request pension benefit statements
access retirement planning tools
Our simple-to-use, interactive Retirement Living Standards tool allows members to understand how much income they’ll need in retirement based on the lifestyle they want to have. They’re able to see how their retirement income might be affected if, for example, they choose not to run a car but spend more on holidays. The planner allows members to factor in rent and other annual expenditure and has an option to state whether people are in or outside London, and to display their income before or after tax.
Our retirement planner tool lets members experiment with different variables, such as contribution levels and retirement age, and compare their retirement income options.
They can see the income they might expect to receive from their savings depending on factors such as how much they save and how long they save for, and how they choose to take their benefits when they decide to access their savings. They can also get an idea of the cash lump sums and income that might be generated by the different options such as annuity, income drawdown or taking a cash lump sum.
We offer an online financial wellbeing hub called Go&Live, to further enhance our innovative member engagement proposition and ongoing digital customer journey development.
Members can learn more about financial issues affecting them, through online support with practical tools and, where appropriate, products to meet individual needs.
My Future Now is a free online service that allows members to combine their pensions with ease, providing an intuitive and fully digital pension consolidation experience.
Our ‘WorkSave Choice’ is an online enrolment management service which enables members to:
view and amend their details
find out more about their pension and investment options
opt out if they wish to leave the scheme
interact directly with us (which saves employers’ time)
Legal & General can provide your members with access to our independent retirement planning advice service.
Our advisers help members understand:
the types of pension they’ve paid into
the tax implications of their different retirement options
how they can access their funds
how to consider the most appropriate investments for their retirement needs
Legal & General Financial Advice services are suitable to members who live in the UK, have a pension pot of £20,000 or more and are over 45 years old.

It's a confidential telephone advisory service that helps users understand and find later life care.
Member presentations
We provide engaging member presentations to view via multiple channels, with a focus on providing digital options.
This enables us to deliver pensions education to more members, while reducing our carbon footprint and responding to the growing preference for using digital communications channels since the COVID-19 pandemic. It also gives you the ability to structure a wide-ranging member education programme and allows your scheme to access our digital content at a time that's convenient to them.
Environmental, social and governance (ESG)
Tumelo
We can offer members access to the Tumelo platform, which helps members understand how and where their pension is invested.
It also lets them share with us how they would vote if they could on issues that they care about such as diversity and inclusion, climate change, executive remuneration and human rights.
ESG hub
Your members will have access to our ESG hub where they can find out how we consider environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in our investment process.
