Fracture cover is there when your client has an unexpected injury, like a slip on the stairs, car crash or a fall outdoors. It’s there to help with the extra costs an injury can cause, such as childcare, travel costs or equipment for mobility.

We will contact your client 30 days before the renewal date to let them know if their premium or the terms and conditions of the benefit have changed.

  • When the benefit is added to the policy it will default to automatically renew the benefit from the next renewal date, even if the premium has changed, unless your client opts out of this at application stage. The client must tell us at least five days before the renewal date if they don’t want to renew Fracture Cover.
  • Your client can cancel the automatic renewal feature at any time, by contacting us directly. If your client cancels the automatic renewal, we will still write to them 30 days before renewal, but the benefit won’t renew unless they contact us to confirm they want to keep Fracture Cover.
  • If your client chooses not to renew, the core policy will continue without Fracture Cover and we will recalculate the premium.
  • If a scenario arises where the core policy is due to end in less than 12 months at the renewal date, the benefit will end at the same time as your client's policy.

Your client can cancel the benefit at any time. If they do, the premium for their policy will be recalculated. The benefit cannot be reinstated later.
